The race VW Summer Nationals was held on July 19th, 2009 at the Arecibo Motorsports Park in Arecibo Puerto Rico. The track conditions were classified as “Slick” due to the hot temperatures and increased humidity. Their were about 80 cars in the drag classes and around 90 cars in the show area.
